Crossing into the International Realm
As 2025 draws to a close, I have reached several important milestones as an author.
The most significant step forward is the newly designed website, created exclusively for the English-speaking market. Rather than being merely translated with well-known plugins such as WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) or Polylang, the site was built as a fully independent version intended for an international audience. It contains no domestic material, only content relevant to readers abroad. This means that the e-books and audio editions are not yet available in other languages.
Alongside the website’s redesign, an extensive translation process is under way, bringing the books themselves into English so that the online content reflects the project’s true scope and progress.
Translation is never simple, yet when approached methodically and in collaboration with skilled professionals, it advances far faster than one might expect. The work is progressing rapidly — the first books have already been translated and are now in proofreading. With new chapters arriving each week, the first volume is expected to be fully reviewed by the end of 2025. And this is only the beginning.

Translations into Serbian are also under way, partially supported by European funding through one of the partner companies. Although both series — The Wanderers and Spiritus Dei — are reaching completion in November 2025, contact with international literary agents has already been established. Submissions have been sent, and we now await responses with cautious optimism.
Only one step remains before the world encounters a new dark-fantasy universe — a world entirely of its own making, a place where anything is possible and where even the most demanding reader will not remain unmoved.
The works of Stan Dirdeny belong to the dark fantasy genre and are intended for readers aged 16 and above. The Slovenian dark-fantasy saga The Wanderers is currently being translated into English for the British market. The process follows a precise stylistic and linguistic protocol that preserves the original tone and rhythm of the text. Several volumes are already complete and under literary-agent review. The goal is to present the series to international readers while maintaining the authentic voice and atmosphere of the original.
